AES Intellinet is a long-range remote wireless mesh alarm communicator used to transmit signals from fire and security alarm system panels to a central station.
With AES Intellinet, each transceiver relays its data in distances measured in miles, to the central station via radio transmission. If data cannot be relayed via one route, the mesh network automatically selects the next best route from a choice of up to 8 available routes at any given time. As users add AES Intellinet radios this creates more paths of redundancy to guarantee critical signals arrive at the central station monitoring company.
